STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Help at Home is a service that provides help and support around your home and assistance in accessing and maintaining a social life. Our aim is to support you with your daily living by supporting you with personal care and domestic duties which will enable you to live your life to the fullest potential and stress free. We also strive to combat loneliness and tackle isolation by helping you access social events in your local community.

PERSONAL STATEMENT 

My name is Emma, and with over 15 years’ experience in the care industry, I am passionate about providing high-quality support to those in need. I hold an NVQ level 3 in Adult Health and Social care and have completed mandatory training in areas such as First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding.

I identified a growing need for home help, and in 2022, I established Help at Home. I am a registered Micro-enterprise and listed on the Small good stuff website.

I hold a clean and full UK driving license and have valid car insurance with business use. As well as this I also have a valid Public Liability insurance policy.

I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and their families and I look forward to continuing to expand this service and to making it accessible for all residents in Thurrock.

NEED HELP AT HOME?

If you feel that you would benefit from some Help at Home, then we would love to help. The first step would be to book a face-to-face meeting, where we can have a chat and get to know you and your requirements and to ensure you get the best from this service. During this visit we will provide you with copies of our insurance, policies and procedures and an up-to-date DBS check.

If you would like to go ahead and use our service, we would then complete a registration form with you and plan your personalised support plan. I will let you know about our availability and together we can agree your weekly time slot.

We understand how daunting it can be to let people into your home, that you are unfamiliar with, so we welcome and encourage you to invite a family member or friend to be with you during the face-to-face meeting.
